CRNA Training
The DNP, Nurse Anesthesia Program will give you additional knowledge and clinical experiences starting during the second year.
CRNA Program Requirements
BSN
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN, CNEA, or CCNE accredited program.
RN:
Current, and valid RN license.
Critical Care:
A minimum of one year of current full-time critical care experience. Level I/II trauma center intensive care experience preferred
GPA:
Cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
GRE:
Not listed on the website as required.
Certifications:
- CCRN required.
Prerequisites:
A graduate level statistics course is required prior to matriculation in the program. Marian University offers BMS 511 Biostatistics online during the fall, and spring semesters.
Shadowing Experience
You must submit a Clinical Observation Form with your application.

- A 500-600 word essay discussing your career goals.
