BSN
Or a baccalaureate degree from an appropriate discipline. (A BSN is preferred)
RN: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida
Critical Care: A minimum of one year experience as an RN in an acute care setting (several years ICU experience is most preferred and competitive).
GPA: 3.0 from undergraduate nursing major (last 60+ hours)
Minimum GRE scores: Combined verbal and quantitative GRE score of 1000. GRE is mandatory. No exceptions.
Accredited CRNA Programs are reviewed regularly. University North Florida Nurse Anesthetist Program was last reviewed in October, 2009.It was given the maximum of 10 years accreditation and will be reviewed again in October, 2019. This shows that the program is in full compliance with the COA’s accreditation standards.
