I’m very interested in becoming a CRNA. I have a high GPA, 4 years of ICU experience at a trauma I, my GRE score was just above 300 (not stellar), I’ve shadowed a CRNA and I have many other strong points on my CV. However, lurking behind all of that are 2 underage drinking tickets and a DUI from 15-17 years ago. Rough patch you could say.
I’m worried that might prevent me from even being considered for admissions into graduate programs, especially CRNA school. Any thoughts, advice, feedback would be greatly appreciated. This website is a great resource and has really helped me narrow down where I would like to apply. Thank you!

I had all the same worries and a more developed criminal past. As long as you can get an RN license without stipulations you are golden. Best of luck!
