My GPA is a 2.69. I want to eventually go to CRNA school but I know that my GPA is way too low. Is there any redeeming that? Can I take non major related courses at a university and it count towards my GPA?

Most schools look for science and nursing related courses for your GPA so taking non related courses would not be to your advantage. It would be better to retake the course(s) making your GPA low. This can also show you are serious about applying yourself for the vigorous CRNA programs.
