Are you concerned that Our Lady of Lourdes Health System NAP won’t give you the specific experiences or training you need to be a successful CRNA? Learn what standards CRNA Programs must meet in order to be accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia (COA).
This CRNA program (as well as all others that are accredited by the COA) prepares you to take the CCNA certification exam at the conclusion of the program, allowing you to become a CRNA.
OLLMC offers an integrated program, with clinical practicum beginning in the second semester. This allows you to practice your skills early on, giving you a context in which to place your didactic education.
“The OLLMC campus is the main principal [clinical] site and provides the students with all requirement components of clinical training which includes open heart, major vascular, major GI, and high risk obstetrics. Students will gain experiences in anesthetic management situations not offered at the primary clinical sites by attending off campus rotations. Our second principal clinical site, South Jersey Health Systems, offers similar patient populations and surgical procedures.”
