This is my review of CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts
For over a year now, I’ve been getting emails from students who are desperate to get into CRNA School; students who will do whatever it takes to get accepted… but they’re not quite sure what it takes.
The truth is, there are thousands of CRNA school applicants each year, and only a few hundred are accepted.
With so many qualified applicants and glowing resumes, you may wonder if you even have a chance.
If you’re serious about becoming a nurse anesthetist, chances are, you’ll do anything… but how do you know that the effort you’re putting out will help you toward your goal? No one wants to sacrifice years of their life pursuing a dream, only to find out that all of their effort wasn’t enough.
If only you knew where to put your time and energy, you could not only save yourself a LOT of time, but you could have much more confidence in your efforts.
I recently discovered a book that answers the dozens of questions I routinely get asked about how to (successfully) apply to CRNA school, AND gives a fail proof progression in which to follow.
The book is called CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts and was written by John Keith, SRNA, BSN, CCRN/CMC.
John Keith offers you a clear, concise path to follow that will help your application stand out from the rest when it lands on the admission committee’s desk.
As you read through CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts, you’ll have the keen sense that John is your successful big brother, carefully guiding you through what otherwise may be one of the hardest things you’ve ever done.
Every step along the way, he’ll point out the common pitfalls of the application process, give you strategies and tips for success and advise you to do ONLY the things that matter.
By the time you are accepted into a Nurse Anesthesia Program, you’ll have spent well over $2,000 in test fees, certification fees, review courses and application fees. CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts, will give you valuable advice on how to save up for those expenses, which tests and certifications you can get your employer to pay for, and which review courses are worth the money.
Not only will this program save you money - it will save you countless hours of research and trial and error. It offers a linear progression of 14 steps to becoming a CRNA student, expounding on all the vital details along the way.
Most students who apply to CRNA School have to learn the hard way – through the rejection letters from schools where they didn’t quite “make the grade”. Through this program, you can learn from the mistakes of others and save yourself from the pain of rejection by getting it right the first time.
Here is a preview of CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts
I’ll be completely honest with you. The book is very well written and full of extremely helpful tips for the aspiring CRNA student, but it’s not for everyone.
If you are a 4.0 student, scoring a 1300 on the GRE and have 3+ years adult ICU experience in a large acuity, level one, trauma hospital, you could apply to any CRNA school you wanted and pretty much guarantee your acceptance. You’d probably get by just fine without this “How to” guide (even still, the book could save you a few hundred bucks, so it may be worth it for that reason).
No. This book wasn’t written for the super star.
It also wasn't written for the veteran searchers who have spent the last several years of their lives painstakingly combing through nursing forums and gleaning every bit of info they can. Much of what is written in this book can be found elsewhere if you spend enough time searching online - but if you're fairly new to this aspiration, "CRNA School Admissions" will save you countless hours of your time, and will give you all the information you need to be successful.
The book was written for all of the CRNA hopefuls who have a passion for nurse anesthesia, know that they are well suited for the work, are eager to start earning a six figure income, yet fear they’ll come up short as an applicant.
John Keith, author of CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts, applied to four schools, got interviews at two and was accepted to both. He did this with a GPA of 3.5 and a GRE score of 930.
That’s pretty impressive if you ask me!
Anyone can gain admission to CRNA school with top notch scores, but it takes a true genius to get interviews at two out of 4 schools with a GRE score below the recommended minimum.
Yes. There is hope for you…assuming you do all of the right things.
If you are serious about becoming a CRNA, I suggest you get a copy of CRNA School Admissions: The Cold Hard Facts. It will keep you focused, keep you motivated and show you how to funnel all of your resources into doing ONLY the things that matter.
If the product were priced at $90, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The time money and effort it will save you would more than pay back your investment.
Priced at just $39.99, I can recommend it in my sleep! I strongly believe that products should deliver much more value than they cost (I guess you can say I'm a bargain shopper). This book is definitely a bargain.
When you order, you get the book CRNA School Admission; the Cold Hard Facts as a pdf file.
Just so there's no risk to you, you also get a 60-day money-back guarantee. Try the CRNA School Admissions program for 60 days, and if you aren't happy with it, just ask for a full product refund.
For the cost of one application fee, you will discover tricks that will make your application stand out amidst all the others. You owe it to yourself to succeed.
